What to expect on your first visit
At your first appointment you will have time to talk with Nicole, get to know her and allow her to get to know you. Nicole will work with you to set goals for counselling or life coaching. She will also discuss the best therapeutic framework for your situation to ensure you feel comfortable with the direction of your process. If at the end of the appointment you decide you would like to proceed, Nicole will provide written information about the counselling or coaching relationship and ask for you to sign to indicate your agreement to working together under those terms and conditions. Your payment for future sessions will be ascertained using your income bracket and a sliding scale. You will also be asked to fill out a questionnaire of general information for Nicole’s background understanding and record keeping.
Appointments
Online appointments are available on Mondays and Thursdays between 10am-2pm.
Face to face or online appointments are available on Fridays 10am-2pm and Saturdays 9am-4pm at Norwest.
Fees
Nicole uses a sliding scale to calculate fees according to household income bracket. The fee schedule will be discussed during your first appointment. Your first appointment will incur a standard fee of $100. Subsequent sessions will be charged at between $100- $150 per session.
After the first appointment any sessions missed by the client, for non emergent reasons and with less than 24 hrs notice given, will be charged to the client at the full session fee.
Rebates
Please note, Counsellors are not able to provide rebates under Medicare.
As a clinically registered member of Psychotherapists and Counsellors Federation of Australia (PACFA) Nicole is registered to provide for:
- BUPA
- HCF
- Emergency Services Health Fund
- Doctors Health Fund
- Medibank
- Police Health
- St Lukes Health
- AHM
Clients must inquire with their insurer as to whether they are personally covered for the provision of Counselling services under their policy.
